Last Log Cabin Village in the World - Changbai Mountain

Chinese filmmakers always like to call Changbaishan Mountain the "fairyland on earth in the end of Asia", owing to it is always colorful even in winter. Many years ago, the ancestor of Man nationality is the Jurchen rose abruptly from here, the ancestor of Aisingoro Hala grew in the Changbaishan Mountain. 100 years before Qing Dynasty, the Jurchen living in Changbaishan Mountain started fishing and hunting, farming, and raising livestock. Finally, they drunk hard drink and eat foods made by the peony planted in Changbaishan Mountain fought from outer of Shanghaiguan Pass to inner and built the last dynasty in China. They left it, but they never forget it, emperors in Qing Dynasty assigned people back to ancestor worship.

Even to this day, Changbaishan Mountain still keeps many cultural relics of Man nationality, and the most famous is the Changbaishan Log Cabin, also known as Bark House and Wild Family. In the Sidaogou Village, at foot of Changbaishan Mountain, hundred families consist of a wooden world, every family lives in wooden house, wooden wall, wooden tile, wooden chimney; and inner house is set with wooden vat, wooden basin, wooden spoon; and the out of house is set with wooden storehouse, wooden circle, and wooden barrier. What they used for transporting is wooden wheels, wooden car…. The Manjiang Town in foot of mountain is one of the best preserved villages with log cabins.In their architectural world, with no piece of brick, piece of tile and even plastic cloth, is rated to be the "last log-cabin village in the world" by historian.
