Occasionally, I enter into an Embroidery Hall during my tour in China, Suzhou. See the embroidery ladies sitting there and embroidering, the fingers like dancers deftly dancing on the canvas, a kind of beauty, fantastic and miraculous. Embroidery is a kind of cultural art, and also an elegant demeanor of aestheticism. You will be shocked and subdued by this brightly colors of art, and involuntary praise its beauty.
In the depth of Shangtang Street, find a tea house with Pingtan in Suzhou Dialect is easy, lay down burden with a cup of tea, the fragrance of tea and tune wash the nerve. Drink a cup of Biluochun tea, seems to appreciate the beautiful girl of Yangtze River delta in legend. Pingtan, also known as the Nanci or Xiaoshu, is a kind of storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect. Speaking or singing, it is divided into three kinds of performing ways. All players are ballad and singing by themselves, just need one desk, two chairs, one Sanxian (a three-stringed plucked instrument) and one Pipa (a plucked string instrument with a fretted fingerboard). As an outlander, I cannot understand the Suzhou dialect, so the local people enjoying the Pingtan are to enjoy the stories, but I enjoy its music. It does not need luxury, just the graceful ballad and singing and wonderful speaking, it can pass through your heart easily, let you moving in it.

Suzhou is a water city, over 40% of this city is covered in water and Great Canal. In the narrow and shallow rivers, you have great chance to easily read endless vicissitudes as well as me. It is conceivable that the road you just passed by has the traces of some ancestors. Maybe the old spring you just passed by is still casting the elegant beauty of old girls.
