Slow life is a
kind of attitude towards life, is a kind of healthy mentally, is a kind of
positive striving and is the high confidence to life. Slowness is the base of
fast, only accustom to the slow life, have chance to be able to quickly find
the position and do not lose self. Slow down, to enjoy the beautiful things
missed in the quick rhythm.
About 7:00am,
friends picked me up to the Zhongshan Ancient Town 122 kilometers away from Chongqing. Zhongshan ancient town originally famous as
the Sanhechang or Longdongchang, sits in the southern mountainous terrain in
Jiangjin District, is one of the Chongqing Ten History and Culture Famous Towns,
the top tourism destination of Chongqing. Located
at the end of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, ancient town was built depend on
mountain and close to river, and all architectures were built close to river,
connected by three short streets, including the Longdong Street, Huangzhongba
Street and the Gaoshengqiao Street.
Sichun is always
known by people owing to its slow life rhythm, especially the Chengdu. But at
Jiangjin District, the degree of leisure for various original residents is not
half bad! In the compact city life, we mostly are ignorant. The too noisy city
lets people try to escape from it if live long time in it. For tours in such quiet and elegant ancient town, what we
need to do just are wandering, sitting, talking, lying in the bamboo chair to
close eyes to enjoy the slow life with a bottle of stall tea. It is very easy!
The business
street depend on the terrain of mountain of ancient town is more than 1,000
meters in the lengthway, and the architectures cross the street in Fengyuchang
almost shape the closed architecture which is a shelter from the weather. Its
design fully considers the weather characteristics in east area of Sichuan
Province. Everyone here reveals the original taste and flavor of the Bayu
families.
The entrance of
Zhognshan Ancient Town is gathering the sand and bricks, maybe some people plan
to build courtyard. Under the continuous construction, ancient town is losing
its original ecological environment and life style. The similar ancient towns
with unique human landscapes once attract the photographers, painters and the
camera crews of movies and series TV, the local original features will be
changed in different degrees when the civilized steps on this land. When this
land is destroyed badly, they left it. Such vicious cycle bottom goes, we must
lose many fields with strong Chinese traditional folk characteristics. I wish
when such lands absorbing the modern civilization, they still keeps their
characteristic, because that is what it worth.
