Different campus has different beautiful
view, making it different from others. Some make people feel like walking into
an ancient capital, and some make people entering a fairyland. Here I would
like to introduce well-known lakes in universities of China.
Just a small fresh water lake, Dushu Lake
is located in the south of Suzhou Industrial Park in Jiangsu
Province, near Soochow University.
Covering an area of about 11.52 square kilometers, Dushu Lake
boasts clear water and beautiful scenery. As one of the biggest lakes in Suzhou, you should not miss it if you are touring in Suzhou, China.
Situated in the center of Jinan
city, Daming Lake is one of city’s natural and
cultural landmarks. The lake is fed by the artesian karst
springs of the area and hence retains a fairly constant water level
through the entire year.
Daming Lake is one of the three
must see sightseeing in Jinan
city, Shangdong province. Also known as the Lake
of Great Light, Daming Lake
is a natural lake formed from many springs.
Covering an area of 460000 square meters,
there are six islands in Daming
Lake. Flowers, trees and
other plants are flourishing amongst the various pavilions.
In summer, lotuses bloom uninhibitedly
filling half of the park with its fragrant scent. For the exceptionally natural
and man-made scenery, many festivals and activities take place here every year.
Tangxun Lake
in Wuhan University of Science and Technology
Surrounded by the Meinan
Mountain, Tangxun Lake
boasts a beautiful natural sightseeing. While visitors watching this charming
scenery, they also could taste the fish balls which is one of the new snacks in
Wuhan.
Famous as the first holiday zone in China, Tangxun Lake
features the culture of totems, with fishing pools, swimming pools, Mongolian
yurts, manmade waterfalls and bridges. In addition, Mnay activities related to
totem culture are held here.
East Lake of Wuhan University
Covers an area of 33 square kilometers and
built in the ancient style of Chu state, East Lake is the largest city lake in China. East Lake
is also named “a lake with 99 bays” for its winding banks and crisscrossing
ponds.
East Lake is not only famous for its charming scenery but also boasts
incredible entertainment facilities.
Shahu Lake in Hubei University
Shalu Lake is the
largest natural lake in Wuchang district, and it boasts lush willows and
sparkled lake. If you come to visit it in the morning, you will find there are
lots of students reading near Shahu
Lake. While if you come
here in the evening, you will discover that its enchanting scenery attracts
lovers dating here.
Wish you have a nice China trip.
