Xian is the city that enjoys long history in China. At past, over thousand years, in total Xian had become the ancient capital city of 13 Dynasty. Because of that long history, there have left behind a lot of old historical sites that worth to visit for Xian tours and one of them is Xian Ancient City Wall. It once first built in Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in Ming Dynasty by Zhu Yuanzhuang, the first emperor of Ming Dynasty.
Xian is very proud about the City Wall because the Wall has become the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world and the most complete city wall survived in China. At past, the Wall had become the protection of the city from the enemies attack, and today it has become one of the main historical sites in this ancient city and become the example of one ancient architecture buildings in Xian.

Xian City Wall built surrounding the city, and because of that there in total has 4 main entrance gates of the Wall: the south gate, north gate, east gate and west gate. It covers 13.7 kilometers (8.5 miles) in length with a deep moat surrounding it. Visitors are able to rent bicycle to bike around the area above Wall as well as enjoy view of the city.
